Rugged Ridge® proudly announces the 1st truly convertible top for the JK Jeep® Wrangler 4 Doors. The battles disappeared to raise and lower the hood

This revolutionary hood opens and closes automatically without even having to leave the vehicle. The new design allows opening or closing in seconds, releasing two locks and clicking a button. Developed and tested for a year by Rugged Ridge® engineers, this revolutionary system includes a reinforced structure that sits on the roll-bar allowing you to open and close the hood with a simple push of a button.

The Power Top is available for all JK Wranglers from 4 Doors 2007-2012 and comes complete with a reinforced tarpaulin, glass rear window structure, hydraulic system, electrical connection and detailed mounting instructions. Everything you need to make your JK a true convertible!

EXCLUSIVE CHARACTERISTICS:

The Power Top Kit consists of all the necessary accessories for its correct installation including the tarpaulin, structure, door cover, engine, hydraulic components and electrical installation

Although recommended by a specialist, it can be done in your home without the need for any special tools. The duration of the installation is approximately 5 hours.

This patented version is available for 4-door models but a new version for the 2-door JK is being developed.

The structure comes partially assembled and is constructed of corrosion resistant lacquered iron. All bolts and bushings are specific to a high degree of strength.

The structure is based on the existing holes and it is only necessary to open a new hole on top of each rear wheel for an added reinforcement

New door covers are included to ensure the fence

The movement of the structure is ensured by an electric motor and a hydraulic pump that commands two hydraulic cylinders.

The engine and cylinders are pre-assembled and ready to install together with a flow control valve, piping and fluid.

The system includes all wiring and buttons to complete the installation. The electric layout, though simple, is extremely effective and protects against misuse, only operating when the brake pedal is pressed.
