Long Range Automotive commenced manufacturing auxiliary and replacement long range fuel tanks for 4WD’s in 1989. We produce over 200 styles of tanks. We have become one of the top 2 leading manufactures of long range replacement and auxiliary fuel tanks. We ship our quality Australian designed and made products all over the world.

Long Range Automotive was created in 1989 by brothers Anthony & Roger Beimers.

Anthony is a qualified boiler maker and has a passion for rebuilding and refurbishing classic cars. Roger is a qualified panel beater, loves four wheel driving & motorbike riding. Between the two brothers there is a lot of knowledge of both the 4WD and automotive industries, as well as many manufacturing processes.

Anthony works primarily behind the scenes here at LRA, although he can be spotted on the LRA stand at the 4WD Trade Shows. Anthony works together with the engineering team developing all the latest model tank designs.

Roger works in the office alongside the sales and administration team, as well as getting his hands dirty in the workshop fitting tanks. You can also find Roger on the LRA stand at the 4WD Trade Shows.

The LRA team and factory has progressively grown over the years and we now have over 15 staff members, (some of who have been with us since the beginning) on a premises of over 1200 square meters right in Lilydale, Victoria.
