REAR SUSPENSION COMPONENT

SumoSprings are suspension components designed to enhance load capacity and stabilize sway, resulting in improved handling and ride comfort. Unlike air springs, they require no maintenance, hold air pressure, and do not need compressors or pneumatic installations. The air is encapsulated in millions of microcellular bubbles. They are manufactured from a unique, patented microcellular urethane formula, providing a smooth and progressive suspension response. Additionally, SumoSprings work in conjunction with the original suspension, sharing the load, helping to prevent spring sag, and reducing wear on original components.

Their capacity varies depending on the height, diameter, and density of each model. The load capacity of a SumoSpring is indicated by the kilograms of pressure required to compress the installed kit by 50%. SumoSprings are available in three different density ratings:

• Blue-40: The Blue-40 density retains the most air in the millions of microcellular bubbles, creating a suitable response for light to medium loads, or when the vehicle is mostly unloaded.
• Black-47: The Black-47 density balances the amount of urethane and air bubbles to provide a suitable response for all types of loads, from light to heavy, and is suitable for vehicles that are half the time loaded and half the time unloaded.
• Yellow-54: The Yellow-54 density retains less air within the material, offering a firmer response, especially suitable for medium to heavy loads and in permanently loaded vehicles.
• REBEL: This is a two-piece unit, upper and lower, using a male-female design suitable for large suspension travel.
