ARB BASERACK

At the Australian factory, ARB has invested heavily in design and engineering to develop a roof rack that sits as close as possible to the vehicle’s roof, while remaining lightweight, strong, and resistant to deformation under heavy loads.

Manufactured with single-piece extruded aluminum beams laid crosswise, the rack offers greater structural rigidity and a reduced risk of bending. This design also facilitates the transport of long and narrow items.

The entire rack structure is fully welded, with no bolts or rivets used (except at the corners, which feature removable trim for cable management), resulting in a strong, clean, and elegant finish. The use of low-profile mounting feet ensures a secure, aerodynamic fit.

⚙️ Versatility & Modularity

One of the key strengths of the BASE Rack is its ability to adapt to the user's needs. It is sold as a flat platform but can be easily converted into a full or partial traditional-style rack with perimeter rails, allowing for greater load protection and organization.

The rail system can be installed around the entire frame, on 3/4 or 1/4 of the rack, or just along the sides. These rails attach quickly to the outer frame, making it easy to customize the configuration according to the type of cargo or trip.

🔗 Mounting & Accessories

Both the perimeter and cross beams feature integrated accessory channels, allowing for secure mounting of tie-down points such as loops, straps, and hooks — making cargo securing simple and effective.

ARB’s unique system also allows accessories and cargo to be added and removed more easily, quickly, and safely. The BASE Rack is available in six different sizes, compatible with over 100 vehicle applications.
