🛠️ Product Description – ARB BASE Rack (Ref. ARB-1770070)

At ARB’s Australian facility, every detail in design and engineering has been carefully considered to create a roof rack that mounts as close to the vehicle roof as possible. The result is a lightweight, exceptionally strong system, resistant to warping or bending under heavy loads.

Manufactured using one-piece extruded aluminium cross beams, the rack provides superior structural rigidity and reduces flex. This layout also makes it easier to transport long, narrow items. The entire structure is fully welded, with no bolts or rivets (except for removable corner caps to allow cable routing), delivering a clean, solid and elegant finish. A range of ultra-low mounting feet ensures a secure, aerodynamic fit.

⚙️ Modular & Customisable Design

One of the key advantages of the BASE Rack is its modular concept. Sold as a flat base rack, it can be easily transformed into a full or partial basket-style rack, depending on the type of load you’re carrying.

The rail system can be installed along the entire perimeter, ¾, ¼, or just the sides, with a quick and secure fit into the outer frame. This allows you to customise the rack configuration to suit each journey or cargo type.

Both the outer frame and internal beams include integrated accessory channels, designed for quick mounting of lashing points such as tie-down rings, straps, hooks and more — making it easy to secure your load safely.

ARB’s exclusive mounting system also allows tool-free installation and removal of accessories and gear, offering a faster, easier and safer user experience.
