After years of design and manufacturing tests, ARB now introduces the new BASE Rack — a sleek and revolutionary roof rack system with a low-profile design, high customizability, and easy installation.

At its Australian facility, ARB focused all design and engineering efforts on creating a rack that sits as close to the roof as possible, while remaining lightweight, strong, and resistant to flex under heavy loads. It’s built from extruded aluminium beams, each crafted from a single piece and placed transversely for enhanced rigidity and reduced flex — ideal for carrying narrow, long items. The entire structure is fully welded with no bolts or rivets, except for the corner caps that can be removed for cable routing. Combined with a wide range of ultra-low-profile mounting feet, the result is a strong and refined rack with a clean appearance.

One of BASE Rack’s standout features is its adaptability. Sold as a flat platform, it can easily be transformed into a traditional rack with a full basket, or fitted with modular guard rails to cover ¾, ¼, or just the sides. These rails attach quickly and securely to the outer frame, allowing full customization depending on the load. Both the perimeter and the inner beams include integrated channels for mounting tie-down points, straps, hooks, and more, simplifying cargo management.

Another key innovation is BASE Rack’s unique accessory and load mounting system — faster, easier, and more secure than ever. With six different sizes available, over 100 vehicle applications, and a growing range of complementary accessories, BASE Rack is set to become the new benchmark in roof rack systems thanks to its strength, modularity, and versatile installation options.
