DISCOVERY TD5 AUTO ALLISPORT INTERCOOLER

Description

A brand new uprated replacement high performance intercooler from AlliSport Ltd. Designed to replace the original inefficient intercooler on the Land Rover Discovery TD5. Fits MANUAL and AUTOMATIC gearbox models. Suitable for vehicles with and without Air Conditioning. This intercooler has capacity to cool up to 200bhp This highly efficient product is designed and manufactured by AlliSport Ltd and comes ready to fit utilizing the original pipe work and mounting brackets. Constructed using our ultra efficient vacuum brazed core design with internal “turbulators” to increase cooling capacity. Laser cut and CNC folded for quality and consistency. Fully TIG welded by hand all in house. The increased cooling capacity together with the appropriate electronic tuning can allow performance to be increased to over 190BHP with an improvement in fuel economy. Models with Auto gearboxes have to be capped at around 160bhp as the gearbox enters limp mode. Fuel economy improves by on average 10% with a reduction in cylinder head thermal stress. Thermal stress is actually reduced as the EGT or combustion temperature is reduced dramatically. In order to get the best from this upgrade the fuelling needs optimising to suit. We offer remapping/rechipping facilities depending on vehicle model year. We can also supply plug-in tuning units and turbo upgrades. Fits original mounts and hoses TIG welded by hand We use high quality vacuum brazed cores and all of our products are manufactured to British Standard!
