🛠️ Product Description – ARB BASE Rack (Ref. ARB-1770040)

At ARB’s Australian facility, every design and engineering effort has gone into producing a roof rack that mounts as close as possible to the vehicle’s roof. The result is a lightweight yet strong structure, highly resistant and without the risk of bending under heavy loads.

Manufactured with single-piece extruded aluminium beams placed transversely, the rack offers excellent rigidity and reduces flex. This also facilitates the transport of long, narrow items. The entire frame is fully welded — no screws or rivets are used, except for removable corner trims to allow cable routing. Combined with a wide range of ultra-low supports, the final result is strong, secure and visually refined.

⚙️ Modular & Adaptable Design
One of the BASE Rack’s key strengths is its versatility. Sold as a flat platform, it can be easily transformed into a traditional rack with a full or partial perimeter basket depending on your needs.

The guard rail system is available for full, ¾, ¼ or side-only coverage. Rails are quickly and easily attached to the outer profile, allowing users to fully personalise the configuration with a railing system that installs in minutes.

Both the outer frame and internal beams feature integrated channels for attaching tie-down points such as rings, straps or hooks — simplifying secure transport of your gear.
ARB’s unique system also enables quick and tool-free installation and removal of accessories, making the process faster, easier, and safer.
